Stick your head in a Blender!

From 1993-1997, I was part of the team that created Blender CD-ROM Magazine.

Blender was 15 issues of interactive pop-culture nuggets, released on newsstands in 640MB increments.

We gave many writers and photographers their first digital bylines, pioneered many new media interface paradigms, even had our own theme song (thanks Momus!).

And then it all became completely inaccessible for almost 30 years: no more CD-ROM drives, no more Quicktime, just a few disks gathering dust in museums and on eBay.

Until now!

That all changed with the release of the fabulous Infinite Mac.

Click that link (works on any browser), then download any of the issues below and drag it into the virtual Mac you just created. Double-click the Blender icon that appears, then double-click the Blender (Mac) launcher in the new window to experience 8-bit wonder!

Enjoy!

Blender CD-ROM disk images

Click images to download each complete issue as .iso file from archive.org

Note: if looking at multiple issues, un-mount each one from the virtual Mac before starting the next one - the launcher will play the first disk image it sees, every time.
